PORTAL

For my third design I wanted to create a portal like drawing. I began by experimenting with creating multiple shapes while slightly changing their size, location or rotation. This was also a very simple design but was amazed by its outcome despite it. I used the draw function to repeatedly draw rectangles with a random colour in the red to purple range. With each iteration a variable was increased which I used translate and rotate each rectangle. The y value of the translation was kept constant and since I translate back to origin with each iteration this did not change. The x value increased by one each time a rectangle was drawn and rotated by that same number multiplied by 200. When the code has finished iterating and reached the full size of the canvas, you are left with a spiral like pattern extending from the centre.
